As part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “Studying the Principles and Values of European Politics from Pericles to the Present,” a scholarly conference titled “Ukraine’s Path to the EU: Challenges and Opportunities” was held on December 9 at the National University of Ostroh Academy.
The event was moderated by Dmytro Shevchuk, Ph.D., professor, vice rector for research and teaching at the National University of Ostroh Academy, and project leader.
“One of the academic events we planned as part of the project is today’s conference on European integration. Thank you for joining us today despite all the current challenges. The presentations submitted by the participants—professors, graduate students, and undergraduates—address various aspects of the topic: political, educational, and others. We are delighted to have the opportunity to implement such an important project at the Ostroh Academy,” noted Dmytro Shevchuk.
Vitalii Lebediuk, Ph.D. in Public Administration, associate professor in the Department of National Security and Political Science at the National Ostroh Academy of Arts, director of the “Polis” School of Political Analysis, and a member of the project team, added:
“We encourage you to submit to our peer-reviewed journal *Agora. Social Sciences Journal,” in which we focus on interesting empirical research and which we are currently adapting to meet new requirements.”
